BOURKE
FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS
|
|
| |
| The
Bourke Foundation provides education grants to people
who are motivated to better their lives and make a contribution to
their communities and to society but may lack adequate financial resources
to realize their dream. Candidates include individuals seeking to
further their education at colleges and universities, community colleges,
and vocational schools. |

Candidate
Profile:
Bourke scholarship candidates
should be able to demonstrate a balance of academic achievement
or progress, financial need, and community service. The Foundation
especially encourages applications from students who may not have
been able to fully realize their true potential during their high
school years for many reasons including hardships. These candidates
will exhibit a drive to succeed that may not be reflected in their
academic performance. Specifically, the Foundation will seek out
candidates who would not be able to attend college without a scholarship.
Applicants fitting this profile will receive favorable consideration
in the review process.
